MT-FR1200 transparent PC halogen-free environmentally friendly flame retardant is a highly transparent halogen-free environmentally friendly flame retardant for PC resin. It is a reactive high thermal stability PC special additive. It has outstanding thermal stability and electrical properties. Its main component is sulfonate, white powder. Diphenyl sulfone sulfonate (commonly known as “KSS” or “KSS-FR”) can be used alone, or used in combination with a special structure of silicone flame retardant synergist, or with a high molecular weight organic phosphate flame retardant to manufacture transparent or translucent halogen-free flame retardant polycarbonate (PC) materials.

Application:

Used in pure PC (or PC with pigments), improve the PC flame retardant grade to UL94 V0 (3.2mm) Mainly used in PC granulation and injection molding, not suitable for use in the case of high filling amount, not more than 5%. It is particularly unsuitable for use in PC fiber addition. KSS flame retardant has outstanding thermal stability. This product is an ideal choice for PC applications at high temperatures. It is usually used in places where other flame retardants cannot withstand. And because of its polymer structure, this product will not precipitate in all applications.
